Docto Millet is a mixture of a number of millet powders, Pulses, Nuts with raw jackfruit and banana flours. As the analysis report indicates it is a high fibre and low glycemic index powder. This can be used as a substitute or an additive for cereals without compromising taste. Our team has experimented with it and come up with a number of recipes which have been listed herein. For health conscious individuals of all ages. Our product will be extremely useful and acceptable as a base and an additive/replacement for high GI cereals.
USES
1. INSTANT DOSA
* Add 300ml water to 150 gms of Docto Millet & salt to taste ,Mix
well & add chopped caret, finely sliced tomato,turmeric (optional)cook in a dosa tawa
at low flame. Finely a tea spoon full of Desi Ghee to the sides. Goes well with Coconut Chutney.
2. Puttu Powder
* Add 100 ml water to 150 gms of Docto Millet & Mix well
* Add grated coconut
* Steam in a Puttu Kodam
* Goes well with Kadle (Chick pea ) curry
3. VEG SOUP
Take finely chopped 50 gms caret,50 gms cauliflower, 50gms beans,
50 gms onion . Boil it & add 2 tea spoon Docto Millet. Stir well in
Low flame. Add Salt & pepper to taste & 1/ 2 tea spoon Desi Ghee.
Millet soup is ready
4. NON VEG SOUP
Take 200 gms of sliced chicken or fish. Cook it well. Add 100 gms of
Docto millet & stir it continually until all lumps dissolves. Add
pepper and salt to taste. Your Chicken/ fish Millet Soup is ready
5.PORRIDGE
Add 200 ml of water to 100 gms of Docto Millet. Stir it well until all
lumps dissolves. Cook it in low flame stirring gently. Add either Salt
or jaggery. Consume it in Morning & evening.
6. HOT BEVARAGES
Add 2 tea spoon Docto Millet to Milk, Mix it well. Boil & Add
Jaggery. Drink as an alternative for Tea /Coffee.
